Welcome to FUFU n’ Sauce. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of fufunsauce.com, any mobile or subdomain versions of the site, our ordering and catering platforms, the Ama AI assistant, our loyalty program, our gift cards, and any in-person or curbside services offered at 8100 Page Avenue, University City, Missouri.

By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services. If you are using the services on behalf of a company (for example, booking corporate catering), you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

1. Who we are

FUFU n’ Sauce LLC is a Missouri limited liability company, address 8100 Page Avenue, University City, MO 63130, phone (314) 200-5581, email info@fufunsauce.com. We are the operator of the restaurant, the ecommerce shop, the catering services, and all related platforms.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and at least 18 years old to place an order that involves payment. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at info@fufunsauce.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Orders, pricing, and payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars and include applicable Missouri and University City sales tax as shown at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is confirmed. Online payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. By placing an order, you authorize us and the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the full amount including tax, delivery, and optional tip.

Catering orders require a deposit of 25% at booking, with the remainder due 7 days before the event. Cancellations made 14+ days before the event receive a full refund less a $50 administrative fee; cancellations 7–13 days before receive a 50% refund; fewer than 7 days are non-refundable.

For Stripe Connect-enabled tenant transactions (for example, marketplace vendor payments), you agree to Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement in addition to these Terms.

4. Pickup, delivery, and fulfillment

Pickup orders are ready within the estimate shown at checkout (typically 15 to 25 minutes depending on kitchen volume). We hold pickup orders for 60 minutes from the ready time; unclaimed orders after that are not refundable. Delivery through third-party partners (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub) is subject to each partner’s own terms and fulfillment.

5. Loyalty program and gift cards

Our loyalty program awards points for qualifying purchases. Points have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may expire after 12 months of inactivity. We may change the earning or redemption ratios on 30 days notice. Gift cards are redeemable for food, drink, and merchandise at FUFU n’ Sauce only, are not redeemable for cash (except where required by law), and do not expire.

6. The Ama AI assistant

Ama is an AI chat assistant powered by a third-party large language model. Ama does her best to answer accurately, but she can be wrong. Do not rely on Ama for urgent health-related questions about allergens or dietary restrictions — call the kitchen at (314) 200-5581 and speak to a human. Do not paste sensitive personal or financial information into the chat.

7. Food allergies & dietary restrictions

Our kitchen handles peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, wheat, soy, dairy, egg, fish, and shellfish. We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. If you have a serious allergy, tell the staff member taking your order directly and we will do our best to accommodate — but we cannot assume responsibility for allergic reactions.

8. Intellectual property

All content on fufunsauce.com — including photography, recipes, logos, brand names, menu design, the Ama assistant prompt set, and the site’s source code — is owned by FUFU n’ Sauce LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit any of it without written permission. You may share individual pages on personal social media.

9. User submissions and reviews

When you post a review, photo, or other content through our site or tag us on social media, you grant FUFU n’ Sauce a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content for marketing and communications. You represent that the content is your own and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

10. Communications — email and SMS (A2P 10DLC)

By providing your email and phone number, you agree to receive transactional communications (order confirmations, pickup-ready notices, reservation reminders) via Resend for email and Telnyx for SMS.

SMS consent and opt-in. You can separately opt in to recurring automated marketing and transactional SMS by checking a consent box at checkout, submitting our subscribe form with SMS consent, or texting JOIN to our sender number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to opt out. Reply STOP to any SMS at any time and you will be unsubscribed from all FUFU n' Sauce SMS streams immediately. Reply HELP for help, or contact info@fufunsauce.com or 314-200-5581. You can opt out of marketing email anytime by clicking unsubscribe in any marketing message.

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with any third party or affiliate for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers are disclosed only to Telnyx, our SMS delivery vendor, and only to transmit messages you asked to receive. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

11. Prohibited conduct

• Using the site to commit fraud or harm another person.
• Reverse engineering, scraping, or redistributing site content at scale.
• Attempting to interfere with security features or bypass rate limits.
• Posting defamatory, hateful, or unlawful user content.
• Using bots to hoard inventory or create fake accounts.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of malicious code. Your use of the site is at your own risk.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FUFU n’ SAUCE LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE SIX MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, AND THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FUFU n’ Sauce LLC harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the services or violation of these Terms.

15. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in St. Louis County, Missouri, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. You and FUFU n’ Sauce each waive any right to participate in a class action against the other.

16. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective” date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

Platform Ownership & Intellectual Property

The FUFU n’ Sauce platform — including its source code, architecture, design system, AI components (Ama and related systems), admin tools, integration infrastructure, and all associated technical documentation — is the proprietary and confidential property of Michai Media, LLC. The platform is operated under license for Chef Adjo Honsou d/b/a FUFU n’ Sauce pursuant to a separate agreement between Michai Media, LLC and FUFU n’ Sauce.

Chef Adjo Honsou (“FUFU n’ Sauce”) retains ownership of her trade name, recipes, menu content, dish photography she provides, and her customer data. Michai Media, LLC retains ownership of the underlying software, platform architecture, AI prompt library, custom component system, infrastructure, and all derivative improvements to the platform.

No part of the platform may be reproduced, distributed, modified, reverse-engineered, decompiled, sublicensed, or used to create derivative works without the prior express written permission of Michai Media, LLC. Unauthorized use may result in civil and criminal penalties under applicable intellectual property laws, including the U.S. Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq.) and the Defend Trade Secrets Act.
